Its name "Ovia" evokes simplicity not only in its own short name but also in its meaning. In Spanish "Ovia" means "obvious" which relates to this bike as easy and simple. That is the spirit of this ebike: simple design and easy to ride.
Among the list of the bikes features, it has front and rear suspension for comfort, fat tires for grip and cushioning, adjustable seatpost, strong fenders, and a rack. These features make the bike more solid, and of course its step-through frame for easy access.
Due to the popularity of the previous step-thru, we made this new step-through to better accommodate our riders by having a longer capacity, more powerful battery and lowering the frame, so all so all riders can ride it proudly and ride alongside our other Cyrusher models.
The Ovia is a perfect match not only for couples but for a whole family.
Its lower frame makes it ideal for shorter riders, its step-through design allows people with mobility limitations to get on the bike with less effort.
The seat stem height is adjustable to better fit different heights, and the handlebar position is adjustable for a better riding experience.
What makes electric bikes special is their pedal assist system (PAS). Contrary to what is thought that an electric bicycle does not allow exercise, the reality is that the PAS allows the cyclist to pedal but in a more comfortable and efficient way.
The bike can be ridden entirely by pedaling, using only the motor, or with a combination of both (PAS). In PAS mode, the bike's computer detects pedaling and activates the motor to assist and power the ride.

A few photos (and a short video clip) from yesterday evening. First time I’ve taken the Ovia off road and was impressed by its ability to soak up the bumps. Even it’s hill climbing ability was quite impressive!
The bike was great out the box but I’ve done a few modifications for my needs (and for fun).

This is my second Cyrusher. The first was a entry-level fat tire that I had for nearly 2 years and put nearly 3,000 miles on it. This ovia has several upgrades: hydraulic brakes, suspension, larger battery, larger motor, etc. The riding experience is wonderful, good value for the price.
